Can I use the service if I don't have a recognized legal charity?

Yes. You may use the service to create a canvas of images for your own personal use or for your organization or even to sell as a product. You are only limited when it comes to fund-raising. You may only accept donations from the public for a legal charity. There may be exceptions in your state or country and we advise you to look into those exceptions. For example, you may be able to raise a small amount of money for a neighborhood project or a school project.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to use ABillionFaces?

No. You only need a PayPal account if you want to collect funds associated with your canvas. You can create a canvas and pay for any associated fees using a major credit card or PayPal. You can contribute to canvases that do not require a donation.

Are there image restrictions?

Yes. Images must meet the guidelines in the Terms of Use for the site, should not be offensive as decided by the ABF community if on a public canvas, should not infringe on the property rights of others, and should meet certain technical requirements including: format and size. We accept jpeg, png, and gif format images as large as 3MB in size. The final size and format of the image as it is loaded on our servers will possibly be different from what you upload.

I contributed to a canvas or uploaded an image and have changed my mind. What can I do?

You should immediately contact support@ABillionFaces.com by email and tell us what you would like us to do. We will make every attempt to make things right for you.

I am offended by a cause or canvas that is available to the public. What can I do?

Please write to us and tell us your views. Comments, where available, are a way to express your views to the canvas owner. Since ABF does not review nor endorse any particular canvas, we can act only as a moderator. However, if you find that a canvas or image is violating the Terms of Use for ABF, please bring that to our attention and we will take care of the situation as soon as possible.
